A single tree rendered almost as stained glass: a golden trunk rising from spreading roots into a canopy of blue and teal leaves, each one outlined and set like a tile. Behind it, the background breaks into broad panels of deep sea blue.

Three children caught mid-leap from a sun-bleached stone pier into the turquoise water below — arms out, shadows sharp, the moment just before the splash. Beyond them the bay opens wide, sunlight scattering across the surface toward a wooded headland on the far shore. Anyone who spent a summer on the Adriatic knows this exact second.
